10th and final Katrina Truck:
CLC will be sending its tenth and final truck of supplies and food to the Gulf Coast at the end of June. On Sunday, June 22nd we will have a special sending immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service. We would appreciate all contributions to be brought in by June 8th as we need time to sort and box donated items. Our focus for supplies remains on cleaning supplies, non-perishable food items, and personal hygiene items. We will need a many volunteers to help us sort through all the items that have been stored in the garage and on the truck in the back parking lot. Ted and Bonnie Knauss will be heading this project. Please contact them at 215-393-5408 if you can help in any way. Although the last truck signals an end to the first phase of our assistance, we will continue to help the Gulf Coast Region with volunteers and gift cards (especially Home Depot and Lowe’s), as the residents begin to re-establish their local economies and to rebuild their homes. Please join us at the 10:45 a.m. worship service on June 22nd in thanking God for all He has done for our Gulf Coast brothers and sisters in Christ, through our congregation and our community partners who have given so generously of their time, talent and treasure for the past 3 years. Our truck will officially leave on Tuesday the 24th and Howard Bryan will once again drive with his wife Doey for support
