Call Vote Meeting
February 8, 2026
Council President, Jackie Swanson, called the meeting to order at 10:35am.
Pastor Steve Godshall-Myers spoke to the congregation advising we were here to elect for CLC’s new Pastor then led us in prayer.
Confirmed that the quorum has been met.
Jackie Swanson made a motion on behalf of Council to present Pastor Matthew Finney as the next pastor of Christ Lutheran Church. Skip Dodge seconded the motion.
Ballots were passed out to the congregation.
Upon collection, the ballots were counted by Andria Alderfer, Brooke Khulen and Lisa DeLong
Andria (head counter) gave totals to Pastor Godshall-Myers
Pastor Steve Godshall-Myers advised the vote was unanimous: 92 Yes / 0 No
Jackie Swanson expressed gratitude to the Transition Team and Call Committee.
Pastor Matt Finney was invited back into the sanctuary and accepted the call.
He was overwhelmed by enthusiasm and welcome.
Pastor Matt Finney led us in prayer.
Jackie Swsanson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:51am. Linda Landis seconded the motion. All in favor, no discussion.

Call to Order (Jackie Swanson)
• The meeting was called to order at 10:55am
Opening Prayer was offered
Verification of Quorum - Established
Adoption of Agenda
• Linda Landis made a motion to adopt the agenda. Brooke Khulen seconded the motion. All in favor. No opposition. No discussion.
Approval of Minutes
• Linda Landis made a motion to approve the June meeting minutes. Brooke Khulen seconded the motion. All in favor. No opposition. No discussion.
Presentation of Proposed 2026 Budget (Brian Sharkey)
• Brian went over 2025 Financials.
• Questions
o Chris Martin – When giving, please allocate where the funds should go
o Skip Dodge – Can funds be allocated on electronic giving – YES.
o Malinda asked if we get enough commitment cards to impact the budget.
o Dave Stickley is concerned about staff, comparing 2025 – 2026. The reasons is that the Office Admin structure was changed and the pastor budget was previously based on Pastor Wayne and now Pastor Matt doesn’t need insurance.
o A question was asked about the rate of return on investments, Brian said he looks at it quarterly. Usually uses Indexed Funds and makes minor adjustments based on market trends.
Congregational Approval of 2026 Budget
• Jackie Swanson made a motion to adopt the Congregational Budget for 2026. Linda Landis seconded the motion. All in favor. No opposition. No discussion.
Next Congregational Meeting is scheduled for 5/31/26
• Jackie made a motion to change our next Congregational Meeting from June 7, 2026 to May 31, 2026 since both Jackie and Brooke Khulen will be away. Courtney Katz seconded the motion. All in favor. No opposition. No discussion.

• Linda O’Neill made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Brooke Kuhlen seconded the motion. All in favor. No discussion.
