Children and Youth
“....from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:15–17

Eligible students will be confirmed on Pentecost Sunday of their second year of instruction. Confirmation instruction is currently led by the Director of Faith Formation, Karolin Brechbill.
NEW this year! Pastor Matt will be teaching a confirmation-style class for parents and adults concurrent with the youth classes. All are welcome!

CLC’s Safe Place Policy
All volunteers and paid staff associated with children and/or youth of CLC are screened utilizing PA State Police Criminal Background Check and the PA State Child Abuse Background Check. Volunteers and staff are screened before they have interaction with the children, and then once every 60 months as per the PA State Laws, for the duration of their services. Paid staff are required to undergo FBI fingerprint screening as well, within the first month of their employment.
