Christian Education

Mission

To identify, structure and offer programs through which those who participate can enhance their faith formation.

The Committee meets once a quarter, typically on a Sunday afternoon, although additional meetings are arranged when warranted.

Communications

To provide support to the church staff, committees and ministries to develop, implement and maintain dynamic and consistent communications that support the overall mission of the church.

Welcoming

Mission

It is the mission of the Christ Lutheran Welcoming Ministry to support the mission of the church by developing programs of outreach and encouraging members to share the good news of the gospel to the community.

Finance & Stewardship

Mission

To encourage Stewardship as a way of life by trusting God, encouraging fiscal responsibility, living the principles of generosity and accountability by glorifying God and service to others.

Mutual Ministry

Mission

To act as a confidential “personnel” committee for CLC staff and to maintain open communication between the congregation, Council, Pastor Sellers, and all other staff members.

Mission

To manage and to oversee the maintenance of the physical properties of the Church.

Social Ministry

Mission

The Social Ministry Team identifies needs and delivers services to the congregation, community and the world through its focus on local and global mission and activities that speak to the Church’s mission to bring awareness of important issues, and serve as examples of God’s love to all through service and mission.

Worship & Music

Mission

It is the mission of the Worship and Music ministry team to plan and schedule worship services that reveal God’s grace in Word and Sacrament in order to inspire praise and a response to Christ’s presence in the world and in daily life.

Youth Ministry Team

Mission

To provide the youth of Christ Lutheran Church with spiritually-based opportunities to further their Christian experiences and enhance their faith formation, through activities designed to help them know God, themselves, their gifts, and the community.

Meetings

Monthly, typically on the third Monday All members of the YMT and any volunteers who work directly with the youth are background checked as per state regulations.
