Piano Lessons

Rachel Appleby has taught private voice and piano lessons since 2012, specializing in beginner and intermediate levels. She has a Master of Science degree in Music Education, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Syracuse University. Whether it’s teaching a group class or an individual lesson, Rachel loves getting creative with the presentation of a musical concept, in order to foster the development of her students.

Rachel has been singing in her own church since 2010, both as a soloist and a choir member. During that time, she also co-directed and conducted three of the church's yearly musical productions, all fully staged: Godspell, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Wizard of Oz. In addition, she was also a member of the women's barbershop group Valley Forge Chorus, as well as the chamber choir Cantatica.
