Box City is a meaningful and fun overnight youth event for grades 6–12 that invites participants to learn about homelessness and food insecurity in Montgomery County through hands-on experience, service, and community. Hosted at Christ Lutheran Church and welcoming youth groups from across the SEPA Synod, the weekend includes building a “box city,” shared meals, games, service projects, worship, and fundraising to support a local homeless shelter or designated charity. Friends are welcome to attend, and youth leaders are encouraged to join their groups for this impactful experience.
